Fashion Week Street Style with Candice Swanopoel

Candice Swanepoel may have shot to fame as a Victoria's Secret model, but she continues to get more and more Fashion Week work, and during the Spring/Summer 2012 show season, made appearances for the likes of Fendi, Stella McCartney and Chanel. The South African beauty showed off her natural good looks on the streets between shows too, often hitting the streets of Milan and Paris with no makeup, dressed casually in denim shorts or a simple printed dress. She creates interest in her outfit by adding luxurious accessories - a red Prada tote bag, tortoise cat-eye sunglasses and snakeskin wedges pepped up her fashion week wardrobe, while a flawless tan and wavy beach hair polished each of her stylish yet relaxed ensembles.

This year has been jam packed with exciting collections, news and events that have kept us busy! From designer collaborations with H&M (Versace, and Marni just announced), to creative director rearranging (no one for Dior, plus we said goodbye to Christophe Decarnin at Balmain and Hannah MacGibbon at Chloé). The year has had its sad moments, such as the death of stylist  Francesco Cominelli, to the happy times, including plenty of model weddings for  Kate Moss, Anja Rubik and more. John Galliano made headlines for his anti-Semitic rant, while 10 year-old model Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau became big news over night for her controversial Vogue Paris editorial. Male model Andrej Pejic pushed boundaries when he appeared in a Dutch bra advert, while teen model Hailey Clauson's parents filed a lawsuit against Urban Outfitters for using a sexual image of their daughter on one of their t-shirts.

In Koray Birand’s sultry photographs, Candice sports revealing spring pieces from labels such as Chanel, Isabel Marant, Christian Dior and Balmain.
