The Party Behind The Fashion

Today, as every other day I was scrolling through my newsfeed on Facebook, and began to notice how many pages (which I have liked) are filling up my feed. As much as I love liking pages so that I also keep up to date with their pages via FB, its actually a really bad thing for me because it keeps me distracted for even longer...because i click the photo, follow the link and there you go half an hour has passed! However, as much as I go on about how much I hate it, I do admitingly love it because I find new sites, photos, blogs pages of inspiration but most importantly something I can share with you! Today I happened to find myself on the fashion bible's website (Vogue) and was browsing through the galleries of photos from previous fashion week parties and other fashion parties, when I came across some photos which I loved! These are a collection from some of the (lets call them fashion parties), but these caught my eye in particular because they are so glamorous its almost like they are not real! So I've decided to share my favourite ones with you, pay close attention to the table setting detail, place cards and party guests. New Noir

Goodmorning! 

I came across this gorgeous editorial yesterday whilst scrolling through pages and pages of fashion images looking for more inspiration for my semester two design project. I definitely thought I should share it with you lovelies because the garments, the styling, the hair and makeup and the model are all just so amazing! Even though these photos are the complete opposite of what my concept is for my design project, I am so inspired and I hope you are also!

Love That Look || Denim and Neon

So, you have probably figured out why I haven't posted in what feels like a while to me, but...in case you haven't, yes college has begun again for the semester and my schedule is getting very busy again. So with all my trend and inspiration research I came across this combination of denim and neon which is very much on trend at the moment and thought I would share this gorgeous outfit with you just for a little bit of inspiration.  The images position former model Elena Perminova who definitely knows how to attract the street style photographers: piecing together highly original, bright looks. Once again head-to-toe in covetable designer pieces, Elena wowed in neon sunglasses which coordinated with a beaded multi-row neon yellow necklace and bright bandeau top. The Russian beauty wore the statement pieces with a denim dress that featured ripped shoulder cut-outs and a plunging neckline. Completing the outfit with black studded flats, Elena mixes together neon and denim with great attention to detail.

Style Stalking || Joanna Hillman

Good afternoon lovelies! I have recently been researching and looking at some other super stylish fashion and style icons other than my favourite ones like Olivia Palermo and Mira Duma (who I'm only slightly obsessed with), and came across the Senior Fashion Market Editor of Harper's Bazaar US Joanna Hillman, who is regularly snapped showing off her unique take on current pieces. Her style is bold and elegant as she mixes high end fashion such as Balenciaga and Miu Miu with high street finds from stores such as Zara. Along with a modern mix of fashion finds and attention to detail in the accessories department, Joanna still manages to set a signature element to her style, being bold black shades, a red lip and straight hair.
