What better than to begin my Spring Haute Couture 2013 updates with a street style post. 

There is something slightly different about this one though and its not that the pictures are black and white... which in my opinion are so classic and beautiful, but in fact these street style snaps are the epitome of "chic to the next lev". These images, I believe capture the true evidence that dressing warmly for cold weather is possible and can be so incredibly fashionable. I know so many people that say it's nearly impossible to be fashionable when your dressing for extreme cold temperatures (especially when travelling), but that is what I love about these photos, they prove that whatever the weather there is no excuse to not be fashionable! So get your fluffy mittens on next time you experience a cold weather wardrobe malfunction and rock them!

K A T E || As We Know Her

I guess there were so many reasons for wanting to do a Kate Moss post, other than the most obvious...

The iconic English model we all know and love celebrated her 39th birthday yesterday so in honour of this amazing style and fashion icon I'd like to not only wish her a happy birthday, but dedicate this post to an amazing face. Just a bit of background to refresh...known for her role in size zero fashion, Moss rose to fame in the early 90's becoming one of the most famous, top-earning models in the world. Since, Moss has embarked on numerous ventures not only in modelling but also in fashion and music. Despite being known for her controversial private life, Moss has been one of my (and I'm sure yours also) favourite models since as far back as I can remember and still remains one of my favourite models and fashion and style icons today. So on this sunny afternoon I have been busy collecting a series of images of Miss Moss which date back as far as 1994 (the oldest I could find dated), so I really hope you enjoy!

Thought I'd share with you a campaign I came across yesterday because I am absolutely loving everything about it! It's Blumarine's Spring 2013 campaign, featuring the stunning Anna Selezneva who enchants in lightweight sweaters, divine maxi's and sparkly pastel gowns creating these beautiful dreamy like, romantic images. I love everything from the natural location with the surrounding cherry blossoms and blue skies to the garments, and not to mention the impeccable styling! 

Im loving the sensual yet elegant feel, making it so visually appealing and pretty...this is definitely one of my favourite kind of editorial styles!

Pierre Balmain SS 2013

What can I say other than it's Wednesday and that usually means it's the weekday everyone seems to struggle with because it's just so close to the weekend...after you get over that little hump. So today I thought I'd mix it up a little bit and show you some gorgeous photographs from the lookbook of one of my favourite designers, Pierre Balmain. Modelled by Russian super-beauty Anna Selezneva in a romantic setting, Pierre Balmain presents fresh elegance with his crisp, clean blazers and embellished feminine dresses. The collection in particular is inspired by French glamour and the style of iconic French actress Jeanne Moreau. It juxtaposes graphic black and white with vibrant hues in romantic and modern silhouettes. Hope you enjoy the selection of images I have chosen out for you!

As the weather is reaching crazy highs this summer, what better than some summer loving editorial inspiration, featuring the amazing Doutzen Kroes! DK transforms into an island-dwelling beauty for the January 2013 issue of Vogue UK. With a carefree spirit Doutzen wears relaxed swimwear designs and accessories as she takes to the beach and beyond...if only we all looked this glamourous in summertime!

Year. New. Happy.

Happy New Year to all my beautiful followers...or as I like to say Year. New. Happy. 

2012 was a crazy ride but now I'm set and ready to face the new year with so many exciting things to look forward to! This year so far I have been inspired by colour and the idea to dream big, but today whilst waiting for Ellen to resume from the ads, I heard a quote (which almost made me enjoy watching the ads) which was once said by Chinese teacher and philosopher Confucius, "choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." When I heard this it made me instantly want to put my dreams into plans, so today I've decided, along with a few more posts that I will gather some photos and quotes that inspire me and I hope that they can inspire you too. It is a new year and anything is possible, just put your mind to it!
