An Archived Inspiration

I stumbled across this editorial in some of my older inspiration folders on my computer and thought to share the gorgeous images with you. The simplicity of this editorial amazes me, because although the model is wearing nothing but nude coloured undergarments in each image the stunning jewellery, hair, makeup, scenery and the model make this one of the most gorgeous editorials i have seen. Natalia Vodianova, one of my all time favourite models has gone platinum blonde for the September issue of Vogue Turkey. She is featured on the cover wearing Gucci and the gorgeous editorial was named "Bare Legged Angel." Here are some of the behind the scene photos from the shoot, enjoy!

A Foxy Fantasy At Mulberry

For Mulberry's Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection, creative director Emma Hill and Vogue UK photographer Tim Walker worked with set designer Shona Heath in mixing live and stuffed foxes with giant bird cut-outs that towered over models to reflect the darkly rich and rustic style of the collection. Heath said the use of native wildlife was a simple interpretation of the Mulberry brand, but depicting them in hyper-real colours and different textures reflected the prints and colours that inspired te current season.

Giselle Bundchen for Esprit

Falling off the radar in the last few years, Australian high end street brand Esprit has enlisted Gisele Bunchen (the worlds most bankable supermodel) to be the ambassador for their Autumn/Winter, 11/12 Iconic Styles campaign, due to launch next March. The campaign was put together by the help of international stylist Camille Bidault-Waddington and British fashion photographer David Sims. 

Seventh Wonderland SS11/12 Campaign

Inspired by Jerry Hall's vintage Vogue swimwear shoots, as well as Slim Aarons' 1950's photographs, Seventh Wonderland's SS11/12 campaign "Serafina" looks to Guatemalan culture's signature details such as contrast embroidery, crochet edging and keyhole cut outs. The designer Bonnie Coumbe has used digital floral prints which consciously clash with leopard and bronze, while mustard sits alongside turquoise and scarlet, creating an amazing collection and a gorgeous campaign!

Abbey Lee Does It All

Model turned singer Abbey Lee Kershaw turns jewellery designer! Is there anything this amazing girl cant do? Abbey Lee has collaborated with designers Melanie Kamsler and Tamila Purvis to create the "Abbey Lee" ring for Australian jewellery line Mania Mania as featured by US Vogue. Mania Mania's classic, mythical style ring, the "Immortal Ring" has been brought back by popular demand where Abbey Lee used the signature piece as a starting point to create the gorgeous "Abbey Lee" ring for the Fall 2011 Collection. She is also featured in the campaign for this collection, where I must admit she looks amazing!
