ELLERY A/W 2012 Sneak Peek

This year is set to be a huge one for Kym Ellery. At an exclusive preview of Ellery's A/W 2012 collection - which sees her love affair with metallics, muted palettes and the juxtaposition between masculine and feminine silhouettes continue - the designer let drop that international success is on the cards. Ellery will be jetting to France next month to meet with buyers and editors during Paris fashion week, which kicks off on February 28.

Ellery told Bazaar that she will be meeting with the President of Paris fashion week's governing body, the Chambre Syndicale, to discuss the possibility of an on-schedule appearance during the S/S 2013 season in Paris. 

This is incredible news for the home-grown designer, considering that the only other Australian label to officially show at Paris fashion week is Collette Dinnigan. If fashion history is anything to go by, we can expect big things from the talented Kym Ellery in 2012.
